Enhancing Marketing Capability
Toyo Keizai.Inc.
The trend toward so-called customer “black box” confidentiality is emerging on the business scene of late. One factor behind this trend is the expanding distance between companies and customers as a result of the continuing information deluge. An even more essential problem, however, is the proclivity of companies to relinquish what they see as the “tiresome efforts” needed to effectively adapt to and assimilate with their clientele. The aim of this publication, therefore, is to furnish hints on how to eradicate that undesirable state of affairs.
The message that the author wishes to convey comes down to one key point. Namely, that all businesspeople need to cultivate the “marketing brains” necessary to truly comprehend their customers, while developing and polishing the skills and strengths to forge fluid business connections.
Briefly stated, this ability is defined as “customer power.” This volume is overflowing with examples of the methodology needed to successfully grasp and realize such a state of mind and aptitude.
