Graduate of the Waseda University School of Political Science and Economics. Worked for Nippon Credit Bank (current-day Aozora Bank) and a U.S. strategic consulting firm before assuming his current post.

Yoneda has cultivated hands-on experience in a diverse range of projects spanning sales promotion reform, internal division streamlining, rehabilitation support, PMI and other fields, catering to a wide selection of major Japanese firms in the banking, securities, construction, electrical power, industrial property and other fields. These services are not limited to simply mapping out strategies, with his expertise also extending to support for client middle-management training and awareness reform and other phases of consultation leading to the effective implementation of those strategies. At Roland Berger, Yoneda is also a core member of both the Restructuring and Turnaround CC and the Financial Services CC.
